This PAIR of monitors are ex demo/display and are now available for resale. With original packaging, manuals, power cables and tweeter protection grids. Both monitors bear slight cosmetic wear (see pictures) including some minor mark, scuffs and general dust/finger marks but are in perfect working condition. They come with full 12 Month Warranty.

The EVE Audio SC307 is the second model in their range of three-way studio monitor systems. This powerful monitor combines the power from three different amplifiers to deliver a very efficient, dynamic and low noise sound reproduction and is perfectly suited for both near and midfield monitoring applications and will work excellently as a centre channel of surround sound speaker setups too.

EVE’s three-way systems are designed around the concept to distribute the frequencies properly between all individual components and raise the efficiency of your speakers effectively. Developed for critical and detailed listening but with the ability to provide lots of power and thunderous bass frequencies, the SC307 will excel if you're looking for a precise and very detailed reproduction across the frequency range.

In EVE’s three-way systems, each driver (woofers or tweeter) has it’s own dedicated amplifier. One of the woofers serves frequencies up to 300 Hz as a "bass" whilst the other woofer gives you a fuller range as a bass-midrange driver, up to the 3000 Hz crossover frequency. From that frequency on, the AMT tweeter takes over. This minimises interference between the drivers and also allows the SC307 to deliver a very efficient and dynamic sound reproduction.

When it comes to determining how to place the SC305 in your room or studio properly, Eve Audio’s legendary DSP section will assist you in choosing the speaker for left and right hand side. So you will always get proper symmetry between your speakers, instead of having to move them around as usual. With a DIP switch, located on rear of the speakers these settings for room adaptation can be temporarily locked.

As the band of frequencies to be reproduced are divided between both woofers, less physical work is being made by each individual woofer. This in turn will result in less mechanical inertia and a more efficient sound transmission. With three 100W PWM power amplifiers powering each driver/AMT individually there’s no lack of power, as the maximum sound pressure level of 114 dB (SPL @ 1m) will attest.

Both woofers consist of EVE Audio’s proprietary 6.5" SilverCone, the same that is used in their two-way system, the SC207. Featuring a sophisticated low distortion copper cap magnet system. Due to the fact that two of these woofers are being used simultaneously, the frequency response is extended down to 40Hz.

The SC307 also makes use of the proprietary AMT (Air Motion Transformer) RS2 tweeter, which uses a bigger front plate, and a bigger internal magnet to drive the AMT tweeter with greater efficiency.

The front panel mounted push knob gives access to accurate DSP-based volume control and filter settings via high quality A/D converter (24bit/192 kHz) from Burr-Brown that. Delivering a pristine signal to the DSP section. Since the PWM amplifiers are directly connected to the DSP, no additional conversion is necessary, providing accurate volume control and several different filter settings (high-shelf, desk, low-shelf) to help tailor your monitors to your environment and the way you work.

As with every other EVE Audio speaker, you get both balanced XLR inputs and unbalanced RCA inputs for greater convenience.

For extended bass response, an external subwoofer can be added. Eve Audio recommends either the TS110 or TS112 from their ThunderStorm series.
