EVE Audio TS110
10" 400W Studio Subwoofer
EVE’s TS110 is the second model in the ThunderStorm series of active subwoofers. Featuring a 400 Watt (peak) amplifier driving one of EVE’s proprietary 10” woofers, the TS110 will extend the frequency response of your monitor system down to 23Hz with a output power of 108dB (SPL @ 1m). The ThunderStorm series features the powerful accurate and low distortion sound reproduction that is the hallmark of all EVE Audio studio monitors.
- 10" woofer
- 400 Watt (peak) amplifier
- Free-field frequency range (-3dB) 23Hz - 300Hz
- Remote control for subwoofer and satellite speaker volume control
- Passive Radiator (instead of common bass reflex tube)
- Phase switch controls (0°, 180°)
- Variable subwoofer filter frequencies (60....140Hz)
- Efficient 400W PWM amplifier
- Maximum output power of 108 dB (SPL @ 1m)
- Balanced XLR inputs and outputs (Stereo In and Out, LFE In, LFE/Sub Out)
The TS110 also features onboard switchable phase controls and variable subwoofer filter frequencies with both full range and 80Hz filters for connecting satellite speakers. Allowing you to adjust the TS110 to your setup, workflow and room to get the most definition out of your extended frequency response.
The included remote control adjusts not only the subwoofer volume, but also the satellite speaker volume, all while sitting comfortably in your sweet spot. The speaker also features balanced XLR inputs and outputs for enhanced flexibility of connections.
EVE Audio’s ThunderStorm subwoofers follow the strict quality control that they are known for. Using only the highest quality components has enabled EVE to create the best possible products for the market. Critical detail is paid to properly extend the frequency range of EVE’s range of SilverCone monitors and their subwoofer counterparts.
Since all EVE subs feature a passive radiator instead of the commonly used bass reflex tube, providing accurate and clear sound reproduction without any audible low-port noise distortion from air turbulence. The passive radiator also allows a particularly low tuning or lower cut-off frequency in a very compact cabinet. The suspension of the passive radiator has a restoring force underneath it’s tuning frequency and reduces inaudible excursions in the subsonic range. This in turn results in reduced intermodulation distortion in the working range.
Every ThunderStorm subwoofer has detailed controls. The switchable satellite filters (full range and 80Hz), phase switch controls (0°, 180°). and variable subwoofer filter frequencies (60....140Hz)let you tailor and adjust your ThunderStorm to your specific room.
The DSP section, which uses a high resolution BurrBrown converter, only affects the bass driver operation. The signal path to the satellite speakers is kept purely analog, with no A/D/A conversions whatsoever. The "Pure Satellite" function, when activated, completely bypasses the subwoofer and DSP filter section, and will only allow adjustment the satellite's volume.
As with every EVE Audio subwoofer, both balanced XLR Inputs and Outputs (Stereo In and Out, LFE In, LFE/Sub Out) are available for greater convenience.
